• find the alphabet — what primitive unit? char, pixel, flap, pole?
• find the rule set — what can change vs what stay fixed?
• feel the loop — close perfect or drift long way home?
• notice function vs form — how far from original job of object?
• media = constraint set not neutral channel. limitation probably on purpose.
• watch choreography — movement open state space over time (see also secrets loops section).
